As the holiday season is fast approaching, the City of Brooks Handibus Specialized Transit Service will once again be conducting their Annual Christmas Light Tours on December, 14th and 21st.  Tours will cost $4.00. To sign up call 362-6190.

The Brooks Bandits have two home games this weekend playing host to the Drumheller Dragons Friday night and Calgary Canucks Saturday, These are the last two home games before the Christmas Break. Catch all the action on the Martin Chrysler Bandits broadcast with the pre game show at 6:45.

Cuddles for Christmas is back this year. They are asking for new cuddly blankets with any other items added wrapped and dropped off to ATB. On Christmas Day all of the “gifts” are taken to the hospital and long term care and personally delivered a few family members and some staff from ATB. Some are left  at the ER for people that come in Christmas also,

 

The Nutcracker: All Jazzed Up,  performs two big shows at Griffin Park Theatre, Saturday,  December 8 and Saturday, December 15th.  With Shows at 2 pm and 7:00 pm.  This holiday tradition features  over 80 local dancers, some as young as five years old. Tickets are $15 each and are available for purchase at The Steaming Cup and RSDA office.

Breakfast with Santa is set for Saturday, December 15th at the Brooks Legion. *Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis to a maximum of 100 children. Tickets can be purchased at the SPEC Association or call 403.362.5056.*

Join TSG Insurance at their annual Holiday Hoopla at the Silver Sage Community Corral, Saturday, December 15th! Enjoy bouncy castles, cookies & craft decorating, hay rides, vendor tables and photos with Santa! Admission is a non-perishable food item/cash donation to the Brooks Food Band.

 

The Patricia Community is selling their calendars again this year.  They are available at UFA, South Country Co-op and Work N Play.

Students in the Grasslands and Christ the Redeemer School Division have their last day of class on Friday, December 21st and then start their winter break. They return to class on Monday, January 7th.

 

The Canadian Badlands is excited to present the Dinosaur Country Pheasant Hunt on January 11 and 12, 2019. The hunt will take place in the Patricia area in the County of Newell.
